Calling all Woodworking Clubs & Guilds! The Woodworking Shows recognize clubs & guilds as a resource for the woodworking community. Helping to make woodworking accessible to everyone.

We invite you to join us at the show! We'll provide your club or guild with free booth space. We've created a anew outlet for you to showcase your club: Strolling Seminars. Introduced at The Woodworking Shows in the spring of our 2008/2009 season, "Strolling Seminars" were an instantly a hit. We publicize the seminars in our pre-show PR and oversized signage directs attendees to the strolling seminar areas at the show. Most clubs and guilds are already doing demos and short classes, we're simply putting a bit of spit and polish to it by letting attendees know what's going on, when and where they can find it. We'd also be happy to help you put descriptions together. Programs have ranged from the basics of pen turning to building plan models to tool care - to (my personal favorite) "Watching a Chair Come to Life" where a club actually brought in logs and other pieces of raw lumber with which they built, by the end of the weekend, a completed Windsor Chair. Processes included turning, steam bending, and carving. It was an incredible display of craftsmanship and ingenuity - the steam bending had to be done over teapots because of fire regulations.
