We want to offer the best product that we can. In order to do that, we need exhibitors. In order to attract exhibitors, we need a certain attendee base. Unfortunately, attendee support at the 2007 Dallas show was not at a level that exhibitors wanted. In the meantime, attendees from the Detroit area, responding to the news that that show would not be taking place this year, began calling. "We just couldn't find a suitable venue," we said. "What if we find you one? Would you consider coming back?," they answered. Amazingly, that's just what happened. So, rather than present a disappointing show in Dallas, we think it's best to re-group and re-think this show. In the meantime, we thank you for your support and invite you to visit The Woodworking Shows in Houston on April 3 - 5, 2008. I attended the one you held there five years ago and that's what got me started in woodworking. The dates for the show are listed as October 24-25.
