The hardest part of re-doing your kitchen cabinets? Not making the new door fronts or refinishing the cases. Nope! It’s installing the drawer slides. Are they level? Are both sides at the same height? Are they installed backwards? Now comes inventor Neil Ziegman with a handy tool – the Magnetic Slide Mounting Tool – to make installing drawer slides the easiest part of re-doing your kitchen. "Our tool makes it easy to install drawer slides," says Neil. The tool uses the intersection of the cabinet stile and rail in face frame cabinets, and the cabinet side in frameless cabinets as a reference point from which to position a slide perfectly parallel to the drawer opening. Simply place a metallic drawer slide into position on the base of the tool, (magnets hold the slide in place) align the tool where the stile and rail meet and drive the screws. Perfect alignment every time!
