Spotlight on Jevons

How do you accurately hold together two pieces of a project while putting on glue, clamps or fasteners when you only have two hands? The age-old solution is to build your own jig. But Bob Jevons has come up with a 21st century solution that is simple, precise, compact, sturdy, versatile, and affordable: The 3D Square. This 6" aluminum L-shaped angle is outfitted with 3/16" holes designed for easy assembly of fences and jigs and is just the right size to allow easy fastening with spring clamps – or any other clamp of your choice.

The 3D Square is perfect for boxes, bookcases, drawers, and cabinets. The tools have been featured on TV in the New Yankee Workshop and, since the first prototype was introduced in February, 2001, at the Kansas City Woodworking Show Bob Jevons has developed quite a following: "I use these more than any other tool in my shop," reports one satisfied woodworker.

Be sure to stop by the Jevons booth to see the 3D Square in action!
